Roles and Responsibility:
Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and environments (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.).
Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and availability of server infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including performance bottlenecks, server crashes, and network outages.
Apply security patches, updates, and system upgrades regularly to maintain optimal performance.
Automate routine tasks using Bash, Python, or other scripting languages.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and file systems.
Monitor system logs and proactively address potential problems.
Ensure security best practices are followed, including firewalls, VPNs, and other security tools.
Collaborate with the DevOps and development teams to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
Skill Requirement:
Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems (installation, configuration, and management).
Familiarity with shell scripting (Bash, Python) to automate tasks.
Understanding of system monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus.
Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Exposure to version control systems like Git.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
